Dr. Edita Đapo
Minister of Environment and Tourism
Born on 24 October 1973 in Trebinje. Bachelor degree (8-semester study program) received in 1996 from the Faculty of Economics of the University in Sarajevo. 
In the period from 1996 until 1999 had been employed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 
Further education continued in Japan, at the prestigious University in Tohoku, where in 2007 had earned the title of the Doctor of Economics. From 2008 until 2009 had worked at the Tohoku University as a Researcher. 
In the period from 2009 until 2012 had been employed as Docent with the International University in Sarajevo. 
Since 2012 until 2014 had held the office of the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury in the BiH Council of Ministers. 
Since May 2014 had worked as a Docent with the International University in Sarajevo. 
Successfully led the international projects: “Building Bridges through Increased Economic Understanding” – US Government Special Fund – 2013-2015; “Work Ready Now” – USAID Partnership for Innovation – 2014-2016; “Compact for Growth and Development” – EU Delegation in B&H – 2016. 
Fluently speaks English and Japanese.
