On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 12th International Tourism and Hospitality Management Congress (ITHMC 2026), which will take place on October 21–25, 2026 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The congress will be organized in a hybrid format, enabling both in-person and online participation, and is hosted by the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, University of Sarajevo.

ITHMC 2026 aims to bring together leading academics, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, share research findings, and discuss innovative ideas and applications across all areas of Tourism Science and Hospitality Management. Recognizing that tourism is both a theoretical and applied discipline, we also warmly welcome participation from tourism practitioners, hotel and hospitality professionals, travel agencies, policymakers, and public sector representatives.

The congress will cover a wide range of themes and sub-themes, making it highly relevant for participants from diverse academic backgrounds as well as the tourism and hospitality industry.

Beyond the scientific program, we are delighted to invite you to experience the unique charm of Bosnia and Herzegovina—a country known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, and authentic tourism experiences. Participants will have the opportunity to join optional field trips and social programs, offering insight into the country’s most notable tourism attractions.

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring high academic standards and quality.
